Superheat Electrical collaborated with Cushman and Wakefield to execute a comprehensive project aimed at replacing and installing various heat pump / air-conditioning units across Wintec. We undertook the replacement and installation of various heat pump / air-conditioning units across the campus, spanning laboratories, classrooms, and office spaces. Our efforts were aimed to enhance functionality and efficiency, ensuring optimal comfort and functionality throughout the campus environment.
Wintec Rotokauri S Block
Install Fresh Air Ventilation to the whole building
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the installation of Fresh Air Ventilation
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment.
- Install Fresh Air Temperzone Clever Air Handling Units
- Re-connect existing ductwork, electrical and additional supply grilles to office and studio.
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work.
Install Heat Pump Air-conditioning High Wall Units in Offices and Fresh Air Fan in Toilet
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the installation of Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Units and Fresh Air Ventilation
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment.
- Install Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Units with outdoor unit on pavers and security cages.
- Supply and Install Extract Fan 150mm in the mens and womens toilets.
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue commissioning sheets and Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work.

Replace Heat Pump Air-conditioning Unit
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the installation of Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Units and Fresh Air Ventilation
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment.
- Pump down unit/recover refrigerant.
- Removal of indoor unit and outdoor units
- Install Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Units with outdoor unit on pavers and security cages.
- Supply and Install Extract Fan 150mm in the mens and womens toilets.
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue commissioning sheets and Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work.

Replace Ducted Heat Pump Air-conditioning Unit System and High Wall Unit
Replace Ducted Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Unit System and High Wall.
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the installation of heat pumps / air-conditioning.
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment.
- Recover refrigerant and disconnect the heat pump / air-conditioning unit.
- Install power supply, heat pump / air-conditioning indoor unit.
- Re-connect electrical wiring. Vacuum system and re-charge refrigerant R32.
- Commissioning of heat pump / air-conditioning units
- Installing outdoor unit on flat roof with bitumen material.
- Pulling cables and pair coils in ceiling space
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work
Wintec City Campus B Block
Install Heat Pump Air-conditioning Unit and Fresh Air Ventilation
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the installation of Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Units and Fresh Air Ventilation
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment.
- Outdoor unit lift to roof
- Access ceiling grid and dismantle grid
- Install Bracketing system for indoor unit and position indoor unit and install plenums.
- Drilling of holes and running of pipework and electrical back to switchboard
- Assemble monkeytoe brackets and install outdoor unit.
- Fit off outdoor and indoor unit pipework and electrical
- Run flexible ducting and install supple and return grilles
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue commissioning sheets and Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work.
Wintec City Campus D Block
Install Daikin Heat Pump Air-conditioning Unit>
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the installation of Heat Pump / Air-conditioning Units
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment on roof and remove ceiling tiles.
- Decommission chiller Outdoor unit and recover refrigerant
- Remove condensing units
- Run pipework and electrical from roof to DG.14
- Outdoor unit lift to roof
- Position new outdoor unit and connect electrical and pipework.
- Fit indoor unit
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue commissioning sheets and Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work.
Wintec City Campus Wintec House
Relocation of Cassette Indoor Unit
Job scope:
- Site arrival and induction. Pre-start meeting for the removal and installation of the Cassette indoor unit.
- Establish work area, set up gear and equipment.
- Remove Cassette indoor unit and cable tray.
- Install and re-position cassette and cable tray.
- Incorporate existing fresh air into the Cassette unit.
- Upon work completion, clean work area.
- Issue commissioning sheets and Certificate Of Compliance for all electrical work.
