What Is the Healthy Homes Ventilation Standard?
Proper airflow is essential for preventing mould and moisture — two major health risks. Under the Healthy Homes Standards, rental properties must have:
- Working extractor fans in bathrooms and kitchens
- Openable windows in living areas, kitchens, and bedrooms
